92 Sonoma Smog Pump Replacement

The smog pump seized up on me some time back and I just put a shorter belt on the truck and bypassed it rather than get it fixed. Well, I think the belt is slipping some and the water pump may not be turning as it should, as judged by the truck running a little hotter than it used to. I replaced the thermostat and it still runs a little hot, I might flush the radiator but I thought I'd replace the pump first so I can be sure it is pumping the coolant at the proper rate. If none of this works, I'll replace the water pump.

Anyway, I ordered another smog pump and will attempt to replace the bad one. Can anyone summarize the steps I need to take to do this? Thanks in advance, I will try and work on it tomorrow evening since the part will come in tomorrow.
