Save a noob!
I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox LT AWD that i recently ran into a curb. It jacked up my front passenger side axel and sheered the bolts on the ball joint. I've just now completed replacing all of that and the car is drivable again. However, now there is a ticking coming from the rear end and it's going to cost an arm and a leg for a mechanic to diagnose the problem, which I would prefer because I want my car back sooner than later, and it would take me a while to disassemble the rear end to find the problem myself.
I'm considering finding a salvaged Equinox that has its rear assembly in tact and functional and just swapping the whole thing out, but I'm hard pressed to find any Equinox's to pull those parts off of. Does anyone have any advice at all for me?? BTW I'm located in the Bay Area, California. |
