engine swap

So I'm about to buy this '99 S-10 tomorrow. Plan is to drive it for the next year or 2 until I leave and come back from deployment, then yank the 4 banger out of it and drop an LS motor in there or whatever will fit. So my question is anyone have a suggestion on what to consider throwing under the hood? I understand there is more that has to be done (suspension, rear end, etc) but Im just trying to plan the motor part right now so
i can do so more research

Re: engine swap

You need to look at a more specific web site. I am a member of S10forum.com and I am doing that swap as well as many other there. every thing you need to know can be found there as long as you look. Do your research in the archives before just asking. You can look me up on that site as well under the same user name.
