Tsx?
Hey what do you guys think about a TSX? I know its a RSX board but you guys are pretty knowledgable- me and the wife are looking at one for after my next deployment- because we are thinking about a kid. I just dont see to many poeple modding them- or really any 1/4 mile times or dyno sheets. any help would be appreciated

Re: Tsx?
Not as big of an aftermarket, but its a luxurious car, and both Comptech and Jackson Racing should have super chargers for them soon. Cybernations is working on a turbo. I'd def. consider it.

Yeah one wouldn't expect a huge aftermarket for the tsx, but a supercharger would be nice.... It won a comparison in C&D over the A4, Legacy, and S40 in terms of family oriented fuel effecient cars...the only thing I would say against is that my dad was looking at a tsx, Im 6'2 210lbs and it was a very snug fit for the driver...my dads 6'6 and it wasnt even an option for him....However, he did fit in a Subaru Legacy...So I dunno I sorta picture you as a built dude, and space is minimal for the husky gentleman

for 4 g more, they got the RL.... and ha ha i wish i was built i am in a airborne unit - all we do is run. and run. and run some more. I am 6'2 though- but I fit oin my RSX just fine. Is it really smaller then the RSX.

i meant to add a ? on to that. HUSKY? did you see the picture of my wife on Car domain and think my wife is a chubby chaser? ha ha just messing around. Thanks for your guys input though- I think I might just save an extra few grand and get the TL- or the RL whichever is the 32,000 one. its got 270 hp with a 6 speed- Ill take that

Re: Tsx?
I would get one just to have a nice car, but I would not do anything to it, that is what the RSX is for. TSX has teh same hp and everything, but lower compression, heavier. I bet it rides nice though. Idependant wishbone susspension, sexy, and a nice magnesium case one the tranny. I would consider that, but I have my eyes set on a BMW 3 series, so sexy.

Re: Tsx?
Buy a TL or an RL, tsx is too slow.

Re: Tsx?
TL = FWD, 270HP, 6MT, LSD.
RL = SH-AWD (worlds most advanced AWD), 300hp, 262tq, Navi, SmartKey, much more. I'd love an RL but $$$$

Re: Tsx?
They're all beautiful cars. Why go broke on the TL or RL? You'll need the money for the kid anyway. The TSX is a great little car. Do like Canuck said- drop in a SC for a little fun when the baby's not in the car.
You headed to Iraq soon? My buddy's headed back for the second time. Intel- with 7th out of Texas. Looks like he's gonna be in Baghdad again. Good luck, man.

If i move - ill go to the RL. But me and the wife decided to trade in her junk 01 sentra gxe and get her a used 4 door GSR- after looking at all the 4 door s and all that- I ll go eventually- but I have decided to work the RSX for every dime its worth until I trade up.

Re: Tsx?
Get a low miles used TL. You can always find a deal if you look hard enough. I looked very hard at the TL but decided on my Max instead. It is a little bit quicker and the price was much much nicer than that of any new TL I found but when you get back from deployment there should be some nice TLs that are lease returns or the like at auction.
