92 3.1L Lumina .. random starts - BUT!?!? *pics*

After recently checking/replacing

Fuel pump - 4 years (30k miles)
Fuel Filter - 4 years (30k miles)
Fuel Pressure - OK (40 PSI)
Water pump - 3 years (20k miles)
ECM - NEW
CPS - NEW
EGR - Clean and removed A LOT of carbon/crap in all holes.
Plug and Plug wires - NEW

I still get some random no-starts.

When it wouldn't start I used this gadget to check for fire

Three times I have it connected after a nostart it showed NO fire -
but if I wait 10 secs it sparks like crazy and the motor starts, so I shut the motor off and try again 10-15 secs later after replacing the plug wire - and will start right up again and idle and drive fine.

Before it would have taken 30mins to 5 hours before starting again. (not testing for spark)

Does this make any sense? So far every time my car wouldn't start and I did check it for spark with the tester, it would aways start after 2nd turnover.

So what could it be? ICM ? Coil Packs?

Or a random freak of nature??

I'd say Ignition control module or a bad coilpack.

I agree with previous thread, you can check for resistence in the coil packs with an ohm meter and the ignition control module can be checked for free at autozone. On average the GM coils/module last 150K, so this is where I would start.
