Rough idle/stalls when put into gear
I have a 95 widstar 3.8 and i just replaced the head gaskets on it. Got it all back together and there is a rough idle and even worse when hot. Once it gets warm and you put it into gear it will die if you dont keep it running. I hear no vacuum leaks and it isnt throwing any codes. There is no back firing. Also, when i was driving it around, i would take off and the trans did not want to shift into second without feathering the accellerator. Ive disconnected the IAC and tried to put a vacuum on the EGR and it would die with just a little bit of vacuum. Im stumped and need some assistance. Also changed the MAF, EVR, and PCV valve. Someone please bail me out.

Re: Rough idle/stalls when put into gear
Take this for what it's worth.. I was trying to find a coolant leak after I took off the air filter tunnel and my van wouldn't run worth a damm. I could barely keep it running and had to jump on accelerator. Then it would just stall. Make sure you have all your electric sensors plugged in. Good Luck
