Very suspicious Ticket (?)

I went to the grocery store today and parked in the parking lot, just a normal parking lot with many cars parked around me. When I came out, I found this on my car:

Re: Very suspicious Ticket (?)

I would think that was a "parking ticket" from an apartment complex or maybe a business.
They probably put it on your window just to screw with you. Your local police could probably tell you who hands out "tickets" like that, or if its totally fake...

Doesn't look official to me, so I agree with Chevelle72; either it's someone messing with you, or one of the business owners was unhappy because you parked in a space for his business and went into another one. Were there any markings in the parking lot? If so, check them out next time you're there.

Either way, that "ticket" should go into the roundfile.

I'd go back and check for the video camera. I would say someone is playing a prank on you!

Re: Very suspicious Ticket (?)

Well let's see:

I drove to the grocery store and park in the public parking lot, with 50 cars around me. I come here almost daily. I go into the store for ten minutes and come out and find the note. Absolutely no reason for a ticket. I wasn't parked in a spot for another business because this parking lot is designated for the grocery store only. This was in La Jolla, San Diego California btw.
