2012 Toyota rav4 Shakes...HELP!
Hi i have a 2012 Toyota rav4 (85,000 miles) that shakes when accelerating at 20MPH and goes away at 25MPH. ive been dealing with this issue for months now and still cant find the correction. iv replaced a few parts already chasing the issue to no avail.
below are parts iv replaced that hasn't solved the issue. front driver and passenger side axels. front driver and passenger side upper and lower control arms front driver and passenger side ball joints passenger tie rod end engine torque mounts front and rear all four tires rear driveshaft front driver and passenger side struts front driver and passenger side sway bar links rebalanced all four tires and moved them around iv felt for a bad wheel bearing but the wheel has no movement HELP |

My gut tells me this is an engine issue. That the engine is getting bogged down and stumbling until the rpm reaches a higher level. Do you have a tach? If so, pay attention to it. See if you can get it to do this in another gear.
It's also possible that the transmission is locking up too early. Try changing the fluid. |

I own the same vehicle 135k mileage. I was a service mgr for Toyota for a few years,. Usually if engine related at minimum there would be a pending code if scanned with a high line scanner. Tough diagnosis from here without an onsite road test. I think you you have a driveline related issue. Lotta parts were replaced that really could not cause what you describe.
