2000 Intrepid 2.7L problem
Hey Folks:
Need some help diagnosing this issue with my 2000 2.7L Intrepid. It has a weird start problem, when the temperature outside is between 0 - 4 degrees. The car starts but has a rough start, and feels like it is going to stall. It only gets smoother when I rev the gas pedal, and the sensors kick in and increase the RPM. I have replaced all the wires, plugs, and filters. I run the car on sunoco 94, and synthethic oil. The problem is everytime I take it to the mechanic I can't demonstarte the issue because the car runs well when I am there. I hope I am not crazy, please help! Angrybrownman |

Re: 2000 Intrepid 2.7L problem
Just a no nothing tech's thought here. Might be the ect sensor. It might be giving the wrong temp sig to the ecm. Colder temp = richer exhaust, hotter temp= lean exhaust. Might not be the right temp for the mixture.
