Fix

My Stereo Display Went Out Last Year. I Took It Into An Electronics Repair Store And Had It Repaired For $20. I Had It Back Like In Two Hours. Not Sure What The Exact Problem Was, But It Was A Cheap And Fast Fix.

tried that, can't believe the number of supposed repair shops that don't want to touch the unit. Some even tried to blow smoke at me to get me to buy a new unit.

Thanks

Click onto this site. With the photo instructions given, I repaired the radio out of my '98 Mountaineer (which was totaled after being rear ended) and my replacement '2000 Mountaineer. The instructions are easy to follow and cost about $20. Worth every penny. I now have two working radios, the '98 identical radio being the spare. To think that the dealer quoted me "at least $300 but probably more like $450."
Can you say "Rip Off?" Total cost for the instructions and tools bought from Radio Shack....about $40. Oh, and Wal Mart sells the radio removal tool for about $7 in the automotive radio section.
