2002 Mountaineer

I've had my vehicle in for what appears to be an electrical problem and nothing showed up. When I lock the doors with remote the vehicle beeps twice and the lights flash. Normally it beeps once. Do you know what's going on and if I should be concerned?

Re: 2002 Mountaineer

You have a door that is not shut properly...most likely the rear hatch or rear window. All Ford products will give two beeps when a door is not shut properly and the remote is used to lock the doors. The dealer you took it to to have it checked should have told you this.

I had that same problem-after opening and closing every door to make sure they were shut, it did the same thing. It was under warranty so I took it to the dealer, and they just had to lube up the latches a bit.
