Brake Problem

Hey I have a 94 cutlass supreme I have a problem with my brakes. Every now and then I will hear this weard noise coming from under my hood kind of clicking and whatnot then when I press my brakes the peddle will go to the floor I then have to pump my brakes a couple of times. I have looked I have no broken lines and my harware is pretty good. could this be my master cylinder shitting the bed or what? any help is appreciated thank you

Re: Brake Problem

Does the car have antilock? If it does it could be a problem with the antilock system or computer that drives it. If not I would say you need to have the master cylinder replaced. If the fluid level is staying the same then the problem is internal with the master cylinder. Don't wait to have it checked as you may find yourself with out brakes at a critical time.
