If You Were To Use A Water Injection Cooler On Your Ztt Would You Still Need To Upgrade Your Stock I/c?

Re: Water Injection Cooler Vs I/c

each one cools
i read about a guy that got a drop from 320F to 170F using water injection, another about another 40F drop when he used an intercooler too
depending on how much boost u want to run depends on whether ull need to upgrade the stock ICs, but if u havent upgraded the turbos then i doubt ull need more than the stock ICs and water injection since they cant boost past about 18/19 anyway (and if im not mistaken, at these levels youll get injector float)
so ud need to upgrade injectors and turbos before u needed a bigger intercooler if u had water injection

yeah you will definitely need alot more to out run the life of your stock IC's or to use water injection. stock intercoolers can handle quite a bit of modding. but if i were you i would add water injection and just boost at the same levels you plan on. say 14-15 psi. i would boost there with a water injection kit. even though you dont really need it if you have a ECU and what not. i would do it just to be easier on my motor. my opinion.

I you run a water/alky 25% injection I doubt you'll ever need to upgrade your IC's. I didn't say water, I said water/alky, bit difference.

Yes methanol, 25% alky and 75% water, much cooler than plane water.
Below is the fact about water/alky injection, and instructions for the DIY people.
