darn factory security systems

Security systems almost make it impossible to put in an aftermarket stereo. But I think I figured out a way to do it. Remove the factory stereo & extend the factory wire harness reconnect the stereo & hide where you desire. Then wire the new stereo completely independently, yellow to battery, red to accessary, ground to chassy & then speakers. If anyone else has an easier idea, instead of spending a mint at a stereo installer for a sensor to by pass the security & install it.

Re: darn factory security systems

works for me, if you have a big enough space behind the dash to hide the factory radio
