One down one to go.

WEll i got some free time and went to my friend aarons house and we built one of 2 of the ported enclosures for the rear of my blazer.

Heres some pics

This is one aaron sent me after it was done, i had to leave early we had about 2" of snow and i had to my girl from work so aaron did the final assembly of the top.

This is a shitty picture of me i just woke up about 3 hours earlier, i had alot of tequila the night before

And yes those are wires hanging from the side im waiting on my binding posts from parts express, and i needed a quick fix.

Oh yeah this is one of 2-atlas 15's i have going in. The box is 3.65cuft ported to 32hz.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: One down one to go.

looks nice, i like to stagger screws on the double baffles though. is there any advantage or disadvantage of one over they other? i thought it might help with splitting.

Re: One down one to go.

The double baffle or the screws, either way im not sure, only reason i did the double baffle was so i didnt need any bracing inside, We split the wood in a few areas but it was hairline, and we did a nice coat of wood glue in all the corners and everything.

Right now its sitting on its side facing the passenger side it moves so much air, il get a vid for ROE this weekend.

Fiberglass resin the inside.

Granted I don't think you'd need it as the box sounds great I'm sure, but that stuff makes them TIGHT.
