groaning noise from engine - left hand side

hi!

I bought my Xsara Picasso 2006 1.6hdi in September of this year.

It was discovered that a piece of the air intake piping was missing. I took it back to the garage I bought it from, who replaced this section.

The next day a groaning noise developed when I pulled away. It is coming from the passenger side/near glove box area of the engine.

I took it to another, more local garage and it was discovered that another piece of the piping had fallen off! I took it back to where I bought it from and they have replaced the whole piping section and tightened it all up (it was very loose at this point). They think they have solved the problem. It is a lot better, but it is still there slightly, especially on hill starts.

I cannot keep taking it back to them as it is an hours drive away and I work full time - plus I cannot spend another minute over there or I am going to explode!

Frustrated, as love this car otherwise! it does seem to be related to the piping section I am talking about, but no one seems to be able to solve and get rid of noise100%

Anyone else encountered this problem?

Cheers
Kate
