Avg. Gas Milage Between 300 and 400???
I'm looking at the SC300 and the SC400 in the years 1992 thru 1995.
With stock engines what kind of fuel milage do they get. I've noticed the pricing is very simalar between these models. I've been a mercedes driver for a few years and would like to try a car with fewer repairs. LEXUS seems to be the obvious choice. And I love the look of the SC model. ANY INFO FOR A LEXUS NEWCOMER WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED FROM VETERANS LIKE YOU GUYS. Thank you for your time, Danny |

Re: Avg. Gas Milage Between 300 and 400???
Let's see, I'm driving my second SC400 now and average milage for me throughout the two has been around 17 or 18 mpg, but I do drive a little fast but also rarely use the ECT. I'd recommend getting an SC400 unless you love driving stick, you can try to find an SC300 5-spd. But if your sticking to auto get the SC400, it's worth it! Oh and the milage...they're just like Mercedes so don't get scared if it has a little too many. I sold my first one with 240,000 and it was still running beautifully. Good Luck!!!
