Intermittent stop problem
Hi, I've got a 97 Ford Mondeo. Have recently had quite a bit of work done to it, service, timing belt, water pump and a head gasket was fixed. When driving the car sfter it has been idle for a few hours, you drive it for less than 1km and I'm driving at a speed below 50kms. The car just stops, the battery light appears. I start it and it starts straight away, the 1st time. Since getting my car repaired this problem has already occurred one time.

Re: Intermittent stop problem
Take it back to the people that did all the service work and head gasket. Something electrical is loose. Have them make good on it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
