Water Transfer Printing
(Not sure if this is the right place to post this, mods feel free to re-categorize if I have made a mistake)
First of all hello everybody, this is my first post on this forum and I am excited to have found it. Now as to my question. I am working on restoring/"tripping out" a 73' Mercury Marquis and I was struggling with how I wanted to refinish the interior and parts of the engine. A buddy of mine suggested going with a "Water Transfer Printing/Imaging" company to do all my parts. Now I have never heard of this before. I've checked out a few guys who do it and it seems pretty cost effective, but I still have reservations on how nice it would look. Anybody ever had any work done with this process before? Thoughts? Thank you |

Re: Water Transfer Printing
You can actually purchase a kit from http://www.vortexdipkit.com
I used one with carbon fiber on the interior of my car. Turned out pretty nice. Wasn't that hard to complete. I had a mess up here and there. The instructions did state to try something small first. I didn't listen and had a couple mistakes then read the directions and they turned out great. |
