Plymouth Hemi'Cuda 1971
To all a good night This is perhaps one of the few my favorite Americans. It has long been spit this box in his hands, since she came to me.
The construction will be with slight modifications. Everything will be done as usual slowly .. : D (as long as there are projects in the priority of this) Well, the progress to date: Revell gave the wrong shape and side cladding connector on the bottom, and began to fix |

As for the wheels, I just started this topic when it began working with the model and made the photo parts of the set ((Because runners took photos of the various reviews of similar models. So the wheels in the set, such as painted on the box |

Re: Plymouth Hemi'Cuda 1971
So, yesterday, painted with two coats engine in the base color Mixed acrylic paint company Tamiya х-6+х-7+х-8. IMHO, it came out pretty similar to the original
Tried on the valve covers ... Although I have seen many 426 Hemi with chrome covers, but I do still black, look for something meaner Just stuck the rear panel and sanded joints, now I will cut undoing While so, to be continued...) |

Re: Plymouth Hemi'Cuda 1971
Well, a small update))Primed rear of the developing layer of primer .. quite bearable. but there is still work to do ..
I tried to copy the tail lamps at the same time in the resin .. All nothing but air bubbles, it is a huge problem ... the resin is very thick .. how to reduce viscosity, do not know ( |

Good progress.
About the resin, did you pour in your mold by the bottom so that the bubbles can get out? I find that I get good results if my mold has 2 openings: one to fill by the bottom, one to let the air get out by the top. Hope it helps.

Re: Plymouth Hemi'Cuda 1971
Thanks for the tip) I still prompted, that can warm the resin before mixing, it becomes less viscous .. that should get rid of air bubbles. I will try))
