Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

This is a Tamiya kit with the reninsance GT3 RS transkit. The trans kit was a pain in the butt lots of work needed on the bumpers to fit right. Here are a few shots of the car.

Re: Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

Looks cool, i think you should take better pics though. Also black trim around the headlights would be a nice touch. Other than that its a stunning porsche.

Also light grey panel wash.

Nice porsche, try doing a light grey panel wash and putting black trim around the headlight to add realism. Its a stunning model though, take some better pics.

Re: Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

The headlights of the Tamiya GT3 have always been hard to make look good.
Thought you should know though, you've got the wing tips on the wrong way around; the lower edge angles out, not in.

Re: Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

wow i forget abuot this thread. thanks for the replies. I need a Macro lense for my D70 so I can get better pics.

The spoiler should be right facing inwards. I have not seen any spoilers out there that are faced outwards.

I got the kit from stradasports.com

Very good job tpliquid !

Sorry, but how you used to make rear lights so realistic?

Taillights looks good so far. I'll try to make mine's the same to yours.

Sorry for my bad belarussian English

Re: Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

Nice Porsche, looks like you adjusted the stance to be lower? re. the photos white often causes light reading problems (like snow) and altering your settings to take this in to account should help.

Re: Tamiya Porsche GT3 RS

ahh i see now. well its too late to swap out the rear wing anyways

i used the chrome sticker from the aoshima kits for the tail lights.

I did not tint them with smoke I just painted the border black. And I think its the picture thats making it look tinted.
