2001 Ram 2500 brake line leak
5.9L, Short box, quad cab, 4x4 with ABS in the rear and rear drums.
I have a rear brake line leaking, it appears that fluid is draining down from the frame rails near the gas tank on the driver side. I assume my issue is the common rear leaking line. What has everyone done for these fixes? Get a new prebent line (steel or SS) or just patched something in? If you patched or run a new line next to the old one how have you secured the line? Just looking for any information I can before I start the project! Thanks. |

Re: 2001 Ram 2500 brake line leak
If and when mine starts leaking, I'll replace with pre-bent stainless since I'll have the fuel tank off.
If I have to take the fuel tank off for any sort of maintenance, I'll install the stainless brake line then too.
