ZX3 vs. SVT
I interested in buying a focus ZX3 but I don't know if I should get the ZX3 or ZX3 SVT. I know the SVT has about 40 more hp but is it worth it or would I be better off buying a ZX3 an modifing it with the $5000 to $6000 I would be saving.

As an SVT owner I will say that an SVT is definitely a kick ass little car. The extra 40hp is nice, but its the handling thats so superb. Yes you can buy the SVT suspension and drop it in a ZX3...but its all the other stuff thats great. Leather, 7250rpm redline, 17in wheels & tires, upgraded suspension, etc. I love my car... you can buy a ZX3 and spend your $6K @ www.focus-power.com with a turbo kit that will net you around 200-230hp!!! G'luck...
CCC PS...Check out www.focaljet.com for a Focus Specific message board...I'm CCC on that board.

Right, the SVT is a great car as is. If you intend to modify more than a intake and exhaust, your better off with a ZX3.

Re: ZX3 vs. SVT
Isn't the engine in the SVT Focus able to handle more abuse than the regular foci?
