Turn signal housing replacement, 87 930, WTF?
Okay, so my right front bulb crapped out. I pulled the lense and lo!, the whole mess was corroded away and the bulb locked in. Bought a used housing as the contacts were eaten away. Now come the problem, I easily got the nut off the back of the housing closest to the center of the car, the other one is hidden behind the bumper bracing/crush material.
It's starting to look like I have to remove the bumper and components? This seems insane. But the 8MM nut is located BEHIND the bumper bracket, I can see no way to get to it withoit removing most of the front end,. What was a routine bulb change has turned into a nightmare. Can anyone help? Thx, Darwin |
