need help with alarm system
my friend owns an Acura Legend V6 which has one of those acura alarm systems in it. well straight to the point...he is unable to disable the alarm, which prevents him from locking his doors without hours of horns blowing and lights flashing whenever he opens the doors. if any body knows of any way to bypass or disable the alarm, then your info will be appreciated. thanks.

Re: need help with alarm system
Nope, you have to unhook the keyless entry module. That is the only way to keep the alarm shut down. Most cars have a disarm wire in the front doors so you can disarm the car with a key but this one doesn't!!!!! What's that all about?

Re: need help with alarm system
you can jump the wire that goes to the hood latch. if the alarm is off, and the hood is open (which jumping it will make it think it's open), the alarm won't arm itself....
