1999 Chevy Prizm - Instrument Panel light bulbs ( LED replacement)

  1. unscrew 2 Philip screws under black bezel
  2. 2 clips hold the bezel at the bottom
  3. the hard part -- remove the black bezel from behind steering wheel. This post http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you...02_Chevy_Prizm suggests warming up the car to make it more flexible. I broke mine, so maybe a heat gun is in order or removing steering wheel or 'switch stalks' (lights and wipers) ?
  4. unscrew 3 visible screws from instrument panel
  5. unscrew 3 green larger bulbs sockets http://www.flickr.com/photos/22325144@N02/5422526274/
  6. remove old #194 bulbs http://www.flickr.com/photos/22325144@N02/5421927777/
  7. install LEDs http://www.flickr.com/photos/22325144@N02/5421919961/
  8. screw bulbs sockets back into panel, replace panel, replace bezel
  9. enjoy http://www.flickr.com/photos/22325144@N02/5421906453/
