Can't Remember

Sorry - I can't remember where I got it. I was just surfing Ferraris one day and I saved that pic. I found it again the other day and thought I'd share it with everyone. If you find the site, please let me (us) know. Thanks.

"You're Stressing the Carbon Fiber". Actually I'd go the other way. The site has something to do with a place that sells top-end cars in Florida. I forget the site too so I'm not of much help.

Yeah, it's www.valetone.com. It's a place that cleans and details cars in New Zealand.

I think that it was one of the other Kiwis that originally put that up (PM I think) but, no that's not the one I was talking about.

Link dont work no more.
NZ may have one of the highest rates of ferrari ownership per head of population out side of Italy (yes higer than the US), but there certainly arn't many woman running around looking that good, certainly not around Auckland anyway.

Good Taste in NZ

I was really amazed at the Ferrari per capita in New Zealand. The entire population of NZ is approximately 3,840,000 (which is roughly the size of a large city in North America) while here's what lurks in the garages of those people. From the Ferrari Club of New Zealand:

11 May 2001 Ferraris in New Zealand

The following list shows the model types of the 304 cars we believe to currently be in New Zealand.

Model Count

Inline 4

750 Monza 1

V6

Dino 246 GT 20
Dino 246 GTS 7

V8

Dino 208 GT4 1
Dino 308 GT4 27
308 GTB Vetroresina 3
308 GTB 13
308 GTS 7
Mondial 8 5
308 GTBi 3
308 GTSi 2
308 GTB QV 3
308 GTS QV 11
Mondial QV 7
328 GTB 5
328 GTS 18
Mondial 3.2 Cab 1
348 tb 6
348 ts 13
348 GTB 1
348 Spider 4
Mondial T Cab 2
Mondial t Coupe 1
F40 2
F355 Berlinetta 10
F355 GTS 5
F355 Spider 15
F355 Challenge 1
360 Modena 2
360 Modena F1 6
360 Spider F1 2

V12

166 Inter 1
250 GT SWB 1
250 GT Lusso 1
330 GT 2 + 2 5
275 GTB/4 2
275 GTS 2
330 GTC 2
365 GT 2+2 2
365 GTB/4 5
365 GTC 2
365 GT4 BB 4
365 GT4 2+2 6
400 I 5
400 A 3
400 GT 1
512 BB 4
412 I 4
Testarossa 21
512 TR 5
F512 M 1
456 GT 9
456 GTA 2
456 GT M 1
550 Maranello 11

Total 304

That, to me, is simply astounding. Any ideas on why so many people in NZ have both the money and the taste to have so many Ferraris?

That's pretty impressive, 304 Ferraris for 3.4 Million people? Note the fact that the very top-end models are barely or not at all present. ) F50's, 2 F-40's. However New Zealanders do like thier new Ferraris, there's about 40 new (Within the last 5 Years) Ferraris that are there. You guys seen any of them?

I live in a city of 40,000 and believe it or not i would be lucky if i have even seen Ferraris in the 15 years i have lived in this town
Out of the 3.4 million people here, there are over 1 million just in Auckland. This would be the place to see most of them i'd say.

The amount of them really surprised me for a country our size. There must be some out there with the money because it isn't me !!!!
