Housing for headlight retaining clips
99 LX Windstar 3.8 V6.
My van was in a wreck and front end damage. The "housing" or plastic pcs just behind the headlamps are broken. These are what the retaining clips that hold the headlights in, go into. What is this particular plastic piece called and does anyone know where I may be able to buy this from (aside a junkyard). The van is driveable, but the front is damaged and the headlights wont stay in because this piece is busted up. Anyone help with this? Thanks in advance! Ken |

Re: Housing for headlight retaining clips
Check with a FORD dealer or a body shop. They should be able to identify the part on their parts system.

Re: Housing for headlight retaining clips
I believe the black plastic back-part you are referring too is the rear piece of the glue-together head lamp lens assembly. Normal service is not expected to separate these two pieces, I think. The assembly seems to be available, new, in a number of aftermarket sources ... though I have never bought one.
