rotors n' pads
Hi all! Its been a while.
Seeing if anyone has some recommendations for new vented rotors. Basically i had all rotors n pads replaced a almost 2 years ago, Raybestos was installed all around. Lifetime warrantee = hard brake pad material = lotsa heat = warped rotor(s) every 6 months = IM ANNOYED! Brought it to dealer to make sure my calipers were good (as the 4runner's are notorious for frozen caliper pistons) and they were all good. I'd like to know what others like / dont like for brakes on their 4runners. Thanks! |

Re: rotors n' pads
Exactly what Brian says, I have wasted time and money on anything else!
One thing, have the rotors checked or "trued" MOUNTED on the hubs. Money and time well spent. You will need to CLEAN THEM THUROUGHLY after turning as you don't want the metal shavings in you bearings. Good luck.
