d16a1 integra motor in 85 crx
i have an 85 crx and an 89 integra the body on the integra is wrecked but the body on the crx is in awsome condition. i want to put the integra motor in the crx. I know its a direct bolt in but the crx is an automatic and the integra is a 5spd. Will the shift linkage and clutch pedal from the integra swap right over into the crx.

Might have a problem with the shifter stabilizer, but everything else will swap right over. Let us know how it goes!

it'll swap perfect the civic/crx's are identical bodies even with auto or manual. and there all interchangeable with the integras. you should have about 5 hours worth of work on your hands if your speedy under the hood. if you need anything let me know i'm a 1st/2nd/3rd gen expert. (self proclaimed expert) i have owned pretty much every honda including cvcc, crx, civic, and a first edition crx (1983 civic 1500 s). my email is breezynutz1458@aim.com email about it. |

make sure you aline the shifter and casing before you hook up the shift cables and everthing. and make sure to replace the push pin. because when you swap a motor it can be hectic on the pins.
