What ECU for SR20DE
I have put SR20DET in my S15 but I have kept the SR20DE wiring loom and ECU.
The engine is from a S14a 200SX but I have put on the distributor from the DE engine so it would run with the current loom. I went to put on a Apexi Power FC but as this was deigned to be used with CAS and will not work with the dizzy. What I want to know is what ECU upgrade would be best for the SR20DE to cope with the extra fuelling and airflow?

I believe you said you coulnt go to the DET Harness so I think your best bet would to be to get a Power FC designed for the DE motor... Since you have to use a Distributer then you'll have to use a N/A ECU (it sounds like the Power FC you got is from a DET?)
I would think that the Power FC from a N/A S15 would be best since thats the harness you have. Either that or you could go to a standalone and rig up your own ignition system |

Re: What ECU for SR20DE
Piggy-backing the OEM ECU will be the most cost effective then. its not the best solution, but it will get the job done.
but if you have the time / money theres always the full standalone |
