loose shifting
my shifter is wobbly when it is engaged in most of my gears its tight in 2nd and 5th but 1, 3, and 4 its really loose. any ideas on what it could be

the bushings on the shift knob most likely... probably need to be replaced..

it is the shifter bushings, the bottom bolts are a bi**h to get to. i would buy the bronze shifter bushings from splparts.com instead of the oem rubber ones.

I swapped some shifer bushings in my car after about 20k and even then i felt a dramatic difference in the way it shifts especially under hard shifting. Another great thing about them is you shoukd be able to find some for about 15 bucks
