1988 Sprint starting troubles
I have a 1988 Chevy Sprint 3 cylinder automatic.. I love the gas mileage it gets.
This car was recently acquired & I'm having a problem with the electrical wiring. We believe this is the problem because the alternator mounting, belts etc. & battery including terminals etc have all been checked. Yet, it has to be jumped every other day. I am working with limited funds so my son has been repairing using a Haynes Repair Manual. The car has been thru some rough times with it's prior owner MY GRANDSON. Everything else works fine since it was a free-bee I want to fix it, if we a find the cause of the problem starting. At times it rides with a jerking motion & then continues regular & when the car is turned off it won't start again. Thanking you in advance for your time, Myys |
