Search function?
The search function doesn't work! With everything I enter, it says it can't find anything...
What's up with it?

Re: Search function?
Just checked it. Worked fine for me?!?!?
You are aware there are 2 search buttons? One at the top for the whole of AF and one just above the thread list for our sub-forums?

Yes, I know there are two. They both don't work

Ktem:
The search function works for me less than 50% of the time. Kinda makes me cringe when I see someone chastising a newbie for not using the Search function. |

Re: Search function?
Yarrr lads, it works! At least it does when I type "Mercedes"... when I search for "BMW" it doesn't give any results

Re: Search function?
Yeah I have the same problem, one time it will show up a million results, next time it'll show none. I thought it was three letters as well, I remeber searching F50 and it working, but F 50 wouldn't work.

Re: Search function?
Yeah things are pretty intermittent around here at the moment. Give it time and things will hopefully settle down. I guess now is an amnesty period where anybody can say "search is broke, what ya reckon 'bout this..."
Of course soon after this update gells there could well be another update around the corner. |

"tire pressure" "ignition timing" (in quotes or not) return nothing. Don't worry Igor, the search function on more than half of websites is just eye candy, does not work.
