Where did you mount your MSD?

I currently have my MSD mounted above the distributor. However I am finding it getting to hot in that location. I have already had to replace one due to heat, and I live in Calgary, not the warmest climate city.

Where are some of the locations you have mounted yours?

Re: Where did you mount your MSD?

another place to put it under the hood where it would still be accessable is on top of the blower motor housing.

Re: Where did you mount your MSD?

I placed mine inside of the center console between the seats. I put a vent above and below it. I mounted it vertical. And left enough room so that I can do any adjustments by removing the top vent. You would have to take out the center console . And mount it to the metal support. It will also act as a heat sink. there is enough room between the support and the plastic for it to fit there. You can pull out the bin and still not see it there. I forgot to mention that it is a Crane IS6, But they have about the same dimensions.
