Check engine light code cooling fan relay 2
I have a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. 2 weeks ago the radiator fan stopped working and the check engine light came on. The code was for a cooling fan relay 2 circuit. I replaced the first relay(had a dark spot on the side like it might have arced) and it seemed to fix the problem but the codes would not clear. I replaced all 3 and still have not been able to clear the codes. The fan appears to work. What should I do next?
Thanks, Bob |

Re: Check engine light code cooling fan relay 2
Get the exact code and post back, look for bad or burnt connections in that circuit in the mean time.
