Re: cherry bomb glass-packs
i personally think that it doesnt provide enough back pressure. i tried it out fora little bit, bout 2 days. i personally felt a minor loss in performance. and it was to much of a headache in the cab. but thats just me. anyone else with thoughts onthat? im currently using the cherry bomb turbo 2

Re: cherry bomb glass-packs
they flow very well but burn through very quickly. they don't provide enough back pressure. a friend of mine had one on his 95 jimmy and it sounded good but he said his gas mileage was worse with it compaired to the flowmaster he has on it now.

Re: cherry bomb glass-packs
when i got my 95 jimmy (bout 6 months ago) it had no cat and a brand new cherry bomb on it, it sounded nice but i really didnt think enough back pressure was avalible with it, so a week ago i went to muffler shop and had them put on magnaflow cat and flowmaster 40 and now when i floor it off the line my sub goes flying around so i had to strap it down, before i had exhaust system put on, the sub barely moved at all....so in my opinion glasspacks in general not so good of idea of vortec.

Re: cherry bomb glass-packs
welcome to af.
the glass pack has a similar sound to the flowmaster 40 but in my opinion, sounds a tad bit ricey. if you just want a nice sound, go with a flowmaster 40 or vortex muffler.

Re: cherry bomb glass-packs
yea they are not very loud but do have a nice tone and flow very well. i was thinking about a flowmaster but i didnt feel the aggressive sound would fit the image of a 4dr suv. if i had a 2dr blazer, then i would have put on a flowmaster or vortex muffler.
