99 Park Ave park assist setting
My park assist makes the passenger side mirror go way down so I look at the curb
Can I adjust the setting or is it just the one setting? |

Re: 99 Park Ave park assist setting
If I remember correctly, it is not adjustable. I believe the only settings are simply ON and OFF (using the Driver Information Center). I believe that the amount of tilt is predetermined. Fortunately, for me, mine seems to be just right. I like that feature. My wife doesn't like it, though, so she has her memory settings (Memory 2) set with the Park Assist turned off.
I just remembered something...I seem to remember reading somewhere that while the mirror is tilting, you can hit the mirror adjustment on the door panel and stop the tilt. I don't know whether that will make the mirror return to the original setting or if it will stop the mirror where it's adjusted at that point in time. I also don't know if the mirror will return to the original setting afterward when the car is moved out of Reverse. Try it a few times to see if you can stop it mid-tilt while reversing and make it work well for you...
