I want a supercharger on my 3.8

I have a 89 olds and im wondering if i would be able to install a supercharger from a buick riveria or park avenue ultra

Yes and no.

If you want to spend the next six months replacing internal engine components and getting a new PROM burned, then yes.

Otherwise...no. This is not a bolt-on part. The easiest way to get a supercharger would be an engine swap...series II L67's are nice

is it a lower compression engine for the supercharger and do they achieve it through head work or shallower pistons it might not mean changeing anything interrnaly just a head change just something to think about on yhis journey

It would be easier and simpler to purchase a car with one that came stock. The amount of work you would need to do would be costly and time consuming. You would need new heads, supercharger, PCM, wiring harness, transmission, axle shafts and assorted other items to do this. Very Expensive to convert!

well after long thoughts i have had enugh of my nonsupercharged 3.8 iv been talking to my co workers and my friend has an old eldorado with a fwd 4.9 chevy moter and he tweaked it so his ELDORADO would run 12.4 untill the car got too rusted so hes giving me the moter. well... you guessed it my next project is too stuff that bad boy in my olds lots of work maby but will it pay off? well see
