I drove a 356C once (somewhere, I once read the difference between a B and a C, then promptly forgot).
Everything about the drive -- the sounds, the smells, the ride motions, everything -- was just like driving a Beetle. Only much faster. The car was recently restored, so I didn't dare take it to the limit; but I did just to corner it a bit. Not bad.

The battle is still bieng fought... If porsche had a mojor design revamp of the style of cars then maybe they would do better...
