for 4th gens there is no such thing as a Si VTEC
Si - H23a 2.3L 160hp DOHC non-VTEC
VTEC - H22a 2.2L DOHC VTEC

the reason it says si-vtec is because in fact, there was an si vtec, vtec came out in 93 for honda, and honda made it as the upper model and called it the sivtec, si meaning, dual overhead cam in all hondas, and the vtec being their new timing system

then why is the vtec faster than the si vtec?

because, it was their first vtec version for the car, and i do believe the gearing in the 94 is shorter than the 93, so that would make the 94 quicker, which it is, it's the fastest vtec prelude honda has made, (very debateable, but in the midwest, it's proven, the 94 vtecs are faster down here, a lot faster

I own a SIR H22A ran 13.7 QTM

And thats funny I just paid 3,500 for my JDM 2.3L VTEC! Stock from Japan. But with the 2.2 I only had basic bolt ons. When I ran my 13.7 on street tires. And a 14.2 QTM at 98 MPH when it was first droped in and that was just intake.
