Is this a catastophe waiting to happen?
I have a 92 LX (5.0 engine) that has a bit of corrosion on the undercarriage. The subframe is starting to split, and the steering/suspension is starting to give me problems (i.e. knocking when going over bumps, slightly sluggish steering, whining noises). Just wondering - is this the beginning of the end, or is it worth investing in to keep this bird on the road? Presently it has approx. 99k on the odometer...
