No more Dodging the issue...

So far, the new Italian owners of Chrysler have been pretty tight-lipped. Fiat has announced plans to drop the Dodge nameplate in Europe, and possibly North America. It has been hinted that the Italians may resurrect the long-dead brand name last owned by Chrysler, AMC, or American motors Corporation. The Italians would have a different meaning for it, however, using the acronym to convey "Attsa My Car!"

Either way, it looks like mutton is out, and marinara is in. Fortunately, the U.S. government has not had a contract with Chrysler to assemble M1A1 Abrams tanks since 1982, and they are instead being directly assembled in Ohio by General Dynamics. The Italians would have had extreme difficulty re-engineering the system to install the tracks backward so the tanks could retreat at 60 MPH.
