replacing rear spring shackles
I have a 98 and the rear spring shackles are going bad, I know they are usually a easy fix, my question is the bolts are going to be rusted, is there a good way to get them out...I'm a little skidish about using a torch around the fuel tank filler pipe. Anyone know a better way to remove them

Re: replacing rear spring shackles
A good quality socket on a breaker bar with a 3 foot pipe extension. Just rock it back and forth real hard until the head breaks off and drive the bolt out with a sledge hammer and punch. This works great when replacing shocks too.
