Rubber Bumper Conversion
We are converting a rubber bumper midget to chrome bumpers, does anybody know where you can get rounded front indicator (parking) lights to fit the different shaped fenders from the ones on the original midgets?

Re: Rubber Bumper Conversion
I removed the steel from my rubber bumpers to save weight. The rubber is stiff enough to take the steel out and remount them back on the car. I documented how to do this on my site www.electricmgmidget.com . The front bumper weighs 50lbs and the rear bumper weighs 35lbs. I was able to cut the weight in half. I decided this was a better idea than converting it to older style bumpers. My midget is painted black, and the rubber bumpers actually look good on it. I do like the older ones better on most midgets.
