wanting to swap 350 in my 82 corvette with an lq4
Hey. Just like the title said I'm wanting to swap my stock 350 with a 6.0 lq4. To be honest I don't know that much about mechanics because I'm a painter but I have to start somewhere! I've decided to go with the lq4 over the lq9 because from what I understand, when looking to install a turbo the lower the compression the better? Any clarification or ideas on this build will be very helpful! How hard is it going to be to modify motor mounts? Am i going to be able to run headers and side pipes still? I'm also curious what kind of hp I can get out of a stock lq4 with a cam and turbo. Thanks!

Please don't post the same question in multiple locations.
Here is the current thread on this subject, with an astoundingly brilliant reply. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1125781 This one will be closed. |
