faulty key fob
09 Altima, the electric key fob will not start the car. It will unlock, and lock the doors. The car is not recognizing the key fob. Any suggestions on how to start this car?

Re: faulty key fob
Look into reprogramming it. I saw some videos on youtube regarding how cars with keyless ignition can easily be stolen, and it looks like if you buy a ~$60 device off of ebay and have access to the OBD-II port you can program a new key fob to work with the car in just a few minutes. My guess is you could also reprogram a current key fob to work with that car (saving you the cost of a new keyfob). Hope you can figure this out!
