Recommendations for a first car for me to restore
Hi there, I am new to this forum. Back in the 70's I had a 1968 Chevelle SS 396 which I loved and which I had today. Not that car specifically but the era of cars in general. I am looking to purchase a project car with no or very little rust. I don't have a preference of what model but looking for something that has replacement parts readily available. I want a 1970 model from this list:
Chevelle 442 GTO Mustang Camaro Charger Challenger Cuda I want to do a complete restoration with some modern equipment added such as disk brakes, better suspension, fuel injection, electronic ignition, etc. but keeping the original lines and body of the car intact. My question is which of the cars above would be easiest and which would be worth the most money after I complete the restoration? Thanks in advance! |
