Stupid Question from Confused Dad
I went to change the oil on my sons Xd and found a plastic type cover thingy where it appears the oil filter should go. I am hesitant to remove it because it appears to have some type of metal clip locking device on it. Is this where the oil filter goes? (Location is: from underneath towards front of engine on firewall side of motor next to oil pan) How do you remove the device? Is there a special tool?
I am assuming that Scion would prefer that you use a dealer for oil changes and once this is removed a regular filter can be used. Thanks, Confused Dad |

Re: Stupid Question from Confused Dad
Obviously this is not a very active part of this forum. Bests thing to do would be ask your Scion dealer and go from there. We bought an 08 xB and the first two services are free - oil & filter change & rotate tires.
