ODB code 33 and code 44
For my other car;
Just in general... A code 33 means MAP sensor or circuit - excessive airflow indicated. A code 44 means O2 sensor or circuit - lean exhaust detected. So, if I'm getting these codes, would the solution be to replace the MAP sensor? It seems to me that the MAP would then help richen up the exhaust alittle. When I was installing my SAFC and ended up accidentially not hooking up the MAP, the car idled poorly at times, and died. It also ran fine at times though. (yeah, I mess around like that). My other car is idling funny, and dies. But at times, it runs fine though. This is where I got the 2 codes above. So should I replace the MAP and see what happens? Thanks.
